  10. Hearing about Pat’s death saddens me. Although we did not remain in contact over many years, I have many fond memories of our growing up years. I share your grief. Circumstances prevented Nancy, Art, or me from being at the funeral, but we all hope for and pray for God’s mercy and comfort.

  11. I am so saddened that I was not able to attend Patricia’s funeral and visitation. I so wanted to come but have a sick husband who needed my attention that day. Please, Donna and Charlie, forgive me for not being there but I thought of all of you all day and wished I could be there with Pat’s family and my beloved classmates to share our hugs and tears as we remembered our precious one. I must say that Patricia Edwards Winkler will always hold a place in my heart as I recall her beautiful face and the love we shared for animals. I pray that our Lord Jesus will cover her family with strength to carry on without her.
