Asheville- Mary Lee Bonham Williams, 97, of Asheville, died Friday March 14, 2025 at Mission Hospital.
A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Cecil Herbert Bonham and Sarah Delano Elkins Bonham. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Roy Williams as well as a brother, Thomas Herbert Bonham.
She is survived by her two daughters, Karen Venise Williams of Asheville and Delania Williams Hyatt of Candler; a niece, Lynn Bonham (Matthew) of Arden as well as a dear family friend, Mike Wright of Asheville.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers and in Mary’s memory, her family asks that you share an act of kindness towards someone in need or who is less fortunate.
Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is assisting the family.
