Mary Jo Dalton Moses, 73, of Bailey Rd., Candler, died Sunday, May 12, 2013, at Mission Hospital.
A native of Buncombe Co., she was a daughter of the late James and Mary Gibson Dalton.
Mrs. Moses is survived by her husband, James Earl Moses; daughter Sharon Davis and husband Tim; sons Chris Moses and wife Betty, and Randy Moses; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters Ruby Harmon, Barbara Wallen, Lora Lunsford, and Martha McMahan; and brother Johnny Dalton.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m on Wednesday in the Patton Ave. chapel of Groce Funeral Home, with the Rev. Eugene Dodd officiating.
Interment will follow at the Gospel Tabernacle Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Sorry to hear about Mary. She was a sweet lady and Will be greatly missed. Mary was in Pisgah Manor with Our mother and we got to know her up there and she always had a smile on her face everytime you walked in the room.May God give you comfort at this time of sorrow.

Randy, my prayers are with you and your family in this time. I know how much your Mom meant to you as I’m sure she meant to others. You were blessed to have her in your life.
