  1. Mary Jane is one of those people whom God places in a person’s life that makes the greatest difference. I met and was privileged to work with her in 1987 for a few years. I will always treasure my time with her and I often speak of her to others and tell them about her giving spirit and genuine care for others. I am sorry for your loss but it is heaven’s gain. I believe she “fought a good fight and kept the faith”. God bless you all.

  2. I was honored to met Mary Jane in 199-95. My husband and I were young and very passionate about politics. He ran for County Commissioner and Mary Jane was always so supportive and helpful. She gave us both great advice with her infinite wisdom and wonderful spiritual conviction. She was a wonderful influence and mentor. I also knew her through Biltmore Church. She loved that Church and believed in its total and complete success for our community. What a wonderful woman and Christian. And what an honor to have known her. I am very sorry for your loss but God has another Angel now…..

  3. The Lyman’s and the Hollyday’s go back a long way. So sorry to hear about Mary Jane. She would really give me a hard time!!! I think my mother Sally dated your dad, Murray (?). I had no idea what happened to Mrs Hollyday, but always missed her. Please know all of you are in our prayers including Mary Jane and Murray. She was one wonderful lady. I loved her & I think she loved me!! I remember, well when Mrs Hollyday told me, “Sandy don’t ever have 2 cars the same age, because you’ll need 8 tires instead of 4, and all of the things that you’d have with maintaining 2 cars at the same time, instead of one at a time”. RIP Mary Jane, and may God Bless you and your whole wonderful family.
    Sympathy and Blessings
    Debbie and Sandy Lyman
