Mrs. Johnson was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late William and Martha Warren West. She and her husband, Robert S. Johnson operated a dairy farm in Reeves Cove, Candler, for many years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sisters, Laura Reeves and Ann Shepherd of Candler and Serepta Fox of Swannanoa, and two brothers, Bill West of Canton and Wayne West of Beaufort, GA.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm Monday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Charles Sprinkle officiating.
Her family will receive friends from 4 - 5 pm Sunday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
