Mark Victor Lombardi, 68, of Arden, died Thursday, May 28, 2015 at the John F. Keever Jr. Hospice Solace Center. A native of Cranston, RI, he was a son of the late Ralph and Marguerite Emery Lombardi. A United States Air Force veteran, Mark was an avid outdoorsman who loved his family very much. He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah "Debbie" Werdebaugh Lombardi; one daughter, Beth Lombardi-Smith (Jacob); one son, Travis Lombardi (Adriene); three grandchildren; two brothers, David Lombardi (Linda) and Peter Lombardi (John), as well as one niece, Anne and one nephew, Peter. A service celebrating Mark's life will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday, June 1, 2015 at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian. The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family graciously asks that you please consider a memorial donation in Mark's memory to CarePartners Adult Day, PO Box 25338, Asheville NC 28813 (www.carepartnersfoundation.org) or to a charity of one's choice.
