Mark Lane Duckett, 44, passed away Monday, March 3, 2014. A native of Palm Beach County, Florida, he was the son of Vernon D. and Linda Arnette Duckett. Mark was a beloved son, brother, father and grandfather. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved camping, hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents he is survived by two daughters, Summer Duckett and Kayla Duckett of Spartanburg, SC and three grandsons, Aiden, Samuel and Maxwell. He is also survived by a brother, Kris Duckett of Arden; two sisters, Jada Rentas of Arden and Jamie Abraham of Johnson City, TN; five nephews and one niece. Private services were held. Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian assisted the family and the memorial register is available at grocefuneralhome.com.

  5. Kris, I met you at my brother, Christopher’s Memorial at Lake Julian in 2010. My brother, Chris & your brother, Mark were best friends. I remember you & I sitting down together at the Memorial gathering to have a heart to heart discussion about our brothers. I am very sorry to hear of the loss of Mark. May you & your family find comfort in good memories of Mark & healing through the love & support you share with family & friends.

  7. I just found out..I know I am a little late.I am at a lost for words he was a wonderful man.I have a lot of great memories of him.I will always cherish that.I know he is at peace now.I love you Mark always

  8. Never knew about this guest book it’s been 6years now and there’s not a day goes by that I don’t think of you you were my best friend a brother we had some good times together looners from way back I love and miss you everyday so go fly high my brother and RIP
