Asheville- Mark Francis Wright, 58, of Asheville, died peacefully Saturday, November 3, 2018.
Born in Ft. Worth, TX, he was the son of the late Carroll and Helen Wright. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Pamela F. Wright; two sons, Jacob Wright and Aaron Wright, both of Greensboro and two brothers, David Wright of Asheville and Daniel Wright of Simpsonville, SC.
Mark loved and drew great strength from his family. As a husband, father, friend, and colleague, his life was marked by deep integrity and regard for others. He also loved his work, and will be deeply missed in his role as General Sales Manager at Harry’s On the Hill.
A service celebrating Mark’s life will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, November 8, 2018 in the Chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian with Pastor David Graham officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Churchyard in Fletcher. His family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:30am until 12:45pm prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, Mark’s family asks that you consider making a contribution to the American Cancer Society ( www.cancer.org).

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Mark for many years. It was a great privilege to have had him not only as a coworker but as a friend. He was truly an exceptional person and will be missed. Our prayers and thoughts are with Pam, the boys and all his family. May you find comfort in knowing he’s at peace now and pain free. Pam, I send my love and sympathy to you and your sons. Mark helped my parents with their car purchases for many years. He was always so kind and patient with them. It was such peace of mind for me to know that Mark was taking good care of them.

So sad to see this as I remember playing with Mark as a kid when him and his family lived next to me and my family in Spartanburg-prayers to all his family!
