Margaret Amelia Biddix, 74, of Fairview, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 8, 2017, at the CarePartners John F. Keever Solace Center in Asheville, after a brief fight with cancer. She was born on November 1, 1942, in Asheville to the late Lewis and Mary Rogers Joyner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, JoAnne Joyner Carver. She married Carroll Biddix on February 1, 1986, and they were happily together for 31 years. She is survived by her husband, Carroll; children, Tracie Esposito and Brian Esposito (Laura); step-children, Tim, Tony, and Randy Biddix and Tammy Peek; grandchildren, Gabriella and Jacob Esposito; eight step-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren; brothers, Rick and Ron Joyner; and numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral service for Mrs. Biddix will be at 3:00 p.m. on Monday at the Groce Funeral Home chapel on Patton Ave. Her brother, Rick Joyner, and her son, Brian Esposito, will officiate. Interment will follow at Pisgah View Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

  4. I am sorry for your loss! Margaret was my best friend in high school. We spent many hours together. I loved her parents and hopefully Rick and Ron will remember me. I visited with Margaret only once, about 40years ago. It’s to bad I didn’t know she was still in Asheville. I know you will miss her!
