Mandy Williams Freeman

Mandy Williams Freeman, 77, of Candler, died on Thursday, March 23, 2017, at the CarePartners Solace Center. A native of Yancey Co., Mandy was a daughter of the late Grayson and Mary Fox Williams. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Mary Lois Williams. Mrs. Freeman is survived by her husband of 60 years, Earnest Freeman; daughter, Mary Kay Brown; sons, Eugene Freeman and wife Vergie, and Jamie Freeman and wife Jill; sister, Cilla Kay Edwards and husband Vernon; brother, Grayson Williams and wife Glenna; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many siblings-in-law, nieces and nephews. Her family will receive friends beginning at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 26, at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave.
