Leroy Sutton

Mr. Sutton was born in Perquimans County and was a son of the late George Lawrence and Elna Spruill Sutton. He was married to the late Margaret Lamb Sutton.

Mr. Sutton is survived by one daughter, Mary Lee Marin of Arden; one son, William Leroy Sutton of Charlotte; one brother, Clyde L. Sutton of Hertford, NC; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 pm Sunday at West Lawn Cemetery, Elizabeth City.

His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Twiford’s Funeral Home, 405 East Church Street, Elizabeth City, NC 27909.

Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is in charge of local arrangements.
