Leonard "Tony" Neal House

Leonard “Tony” Neal House, 85, of Asheville, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2026.

A native of Buncombe County, Tony was a son of the late Willard Ralph House and Ethelyn Oberta Hayes House.

Tony proudly served in the US Army for nearly three years and went on to establish and operate his own appliance repair business, Houseco Appliance Service. Tony enjoyed working in the yard and loved all animals. He also had a lifelong love of baseball and was a huge fan of the Atlanta Braves. He was a talented musician, who could play the guitar, mandolin, bass and other instruments by ear. His family will cherish him as a hard working, dedicated and loving husband, father and brother.

Tony is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Patricia Collins House; one son, Mike House (his wife, Christy) and four brothers, Jim House, Larry House, Rick House and John House.

No services are planned, but his family requests that memorial donations be made in Tony’s name to one’s local animal rescue or to a charity of one’s own choice.

Groce Funeral Home’s Lake Julian team is assisting the family.
