  1. I am so very sorry about the loss of your husband Ms. Marilyn. He was such a kind gentleman, and I know that your heart (along with your children and grandchildren) is broken. I am praying for you, and I love you sweet lady.

  2. Wayne and I send our love and our prayers to you and your precious family, Marilyn. We know you all will surely miss him and we will too. May the sweet memories of Larry’s love for his family, friends and the Lord bring you comfort 🙏

  3. I too am quite sad for your great loss. I know we have The Hope that Christ will return and y’all will be reunited. But it is painful now. May the memories snuggle in close, and comfort , somewhat. He was a sweet, funny, nice, polite, human being. I know you will miss his always now. Smile with the funny memories. And the not so funny ones too. God has a plan in all He allows. And yet i know He is weeping with y’all. Love In Christ, Elspeth.

  11. I remember Larry from our days at Reynolds High School. Larry and I were one year apart. I remember Larry well. He was fun to be around in those simpler times of books, lockers and the old school which is now the Middle School and the Rocket out front when US 74 was a two lane road. To his family and friends my deepest sympathy. Gerry Huntley, Reynolds High School. Class of 1965. gerryh1947@yahoo.com. 828-318-4013.

  12. Marilyn, so sorry to hear that Larry had passed. He sure loved you and his family so very much. I worked closely with Larry for several years and he helped me and others so many times. He was appreciated and loved. My prayers are with you and I love you.

  13. To Patrick and Family: Our condolences, thoughts, and prayers go out to you all. Although I never meet him, Larry sounded like an amazing person who positively impacted so many. Please let us know if we can do anything in this time of need.

  14. Sorry to learn of Larry’s passing. He and I became acquainted while I worked in downtown Asheville. He was working at Wachovia Bank’s Main Office. Larry was always accommodating when I had a need and gracious in his service to all that I observed. He was also a fellow worker of my wife who also worked at the bank. He will be missed!

  15. Larry’s death has brought sadness to all who knew him. I am not a friend of the family, but probably the only person who remembers when he was born, and all the children on Utopia Road ran down to see the new baby. He proved to be a bright-eyed, busy, and energetic baby and a great pleasure to his parents and all his Stewart and Keenan relatives that I knew. We had not been in touch, but stopped to see him on our last trip to Asheville, when we met Marilyn, and he seemed to be the same person I had known as a child when I was 9 years old and it was a pleasure to see them still in Chunns Cove. Many condolences to his family,
