Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I am so sad to hear that Uncle Ken has passed. I have great memories of our Thanksgivings together as children. Four adults (smoking cigarettes and drinking) and 14 kids running around. How was the Thanksgiving meal ever prepared!
Let’s be sure that we cousins stay in touch.
My prayers are with the entire family as you adjust to life without Ken.

  2. I had happy times in Poughkeepsie working in various theater groups with Ken and Dean. It was wonderful to renew our friendship here.
    Ken will be missed.

  3. And He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more…’ May this promise from our loving Creator bring you some comfort during this difficult time of loss. (Revelation 21:4)

  4. Sorry for your loss. May ‘the God of all comfort’ provide for you all during this difficult time. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4)

  5. I am so sorry for your loss. Deen and Ken were amazing people. I was touched by his loving care of his wife when she was so ill. She had such vibrancy and was an brilliant artist. I enjoyed my time spent with them. I am blessed to have some of her lovely paintings. Ken will be missed by all those who’s lives he touched. Together they were truly a loving couple.

  6. We were so sorry to hear of Ken’s passing. We did some investigating when we didn’t receive a Christmas card this year and sadly found his obituary. We go back many years at the Tyler Place in Vermont where we vacationed for a dozen years. We always looked for them on the tennis courts as we rode up to
the Inn on that first Saturday in July and there they would be, We had many great doubles matches with them, the Russell’s, Birney’s and Sonny Bowman, in addition to many hours at the bridge table. They excelled there as well and taught us a few things! We will NEVER forget their creative talents like ‘Peanut
Butter and Jelly’ song or their version of ‘Heard It on the Grape Vine’ as they walzed into the dining room proudly with family. RIP Ken and Deen, it was a pleasure to know you and you will be missed. Deepest condolences to the family.
