KATHLYN O’KELLEY Kathlyn Louise (LaMew) O’Kelley, 86, died peacefully Friday afternoon, July 6, 2007 at her son’s home in Borden, IN with her family by her side. Kathlyn was a lifelong resident of Asheville, NC where she managed the Biltmore Homespun Gift Shop for 34 years. She was born October 20, 1920 to the late Luther and Kate (Wright) LaMew in Light, AR. Kathy was also preceded in death by her husband, Odell O’Kelley, her brother, Lowell LaMew and daughter-in-law, Patricia Gail (Jones) O’Kelley. Kathy is survived by her son, Gary R. O’Kelley and his wife, Brenda of Borden, IN; her grandson, Sean O’Kelley (Tanya), of Jeffersonville, IN; her granddaughter, Katie O’Kelley, of Floyds Knobs, IN; and her great-grandchildren, Bethany, Haley and Cade. Visitation will be 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue. The funeral service will be at 2:30 PM Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at the funeral home chapel with entombment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The Reverend Doctor Bill Jones will officiate.
