Kathleen Mary Stechauner Baumler, 71 passed away Sunday, February 1, 2015 at the John F. Keever Solace Center in Asheville.
Mrs. Baumler was born in Milwaukee, WI to the late Joseph and Elvira Koch Stechauner.
She was a member of Living Savior Lutheran Church in Asheville where she loved to serve her Savior.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Baumler of Waynesville; two sons, Daniel Baumler and his wife, Ellen of El Paso, TX and Brent Baumler and his wife, Wendy of Lakeville, MN and five grandchildren, Jacob, Jonathan, Beth, Livinia and Celise.
A memorial service for Mrs. Baumler will be held Satarday, February 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Living Savior Lutheran Church in Asheville on Overlook Road. A meal will follow the service at the Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Living Savior Lutheran Church for renovation of the Library for greater ministry use.

Dear Pastor Baumler & Family,
My heart hurts for you and the loss of dear Kathy, this side of heaven. She is surely in a better place and you will be reunited with her, thanks be to Jesus!! May our gracious Father hold you up and comfort you today, and in the days to come. May he keep you focused on the prize of heaven, and fill you with his peace. We will continue to pray for you and your family. I will always remember Kathy as such a warm, loving, beautiful, Christian woman, an example to follow and to emulate. Jesus bless and keep you!!
