Julia, Not only were you a mentor to me but a friend, I miss picking up the phone and calling you and seeing you on weekends. I have known you for so many years that it feels like you were family. I hope your family finds comfort in your peace and that those who knew you and called you friend celebrate you! I miss and love you terribly!

Julie was my co-worker, supervisor and friend for over 35 years. She was a wonderful mentor who cared deeply about all of her employees as well as the families we all served. In addition, she was fun and always full of life. I remember a bunch of us playing softball behind the Juvenile Detention Facility – and boy, we were terrible players – but also what a lot of fun we had! She was devoted to her sheltie – and always bragging on her family and Lake Placid. When Julie moved to the mountains, sadly, our contact was infrequent but when we did talk, she was full of laughter. I also want to say that Julie and I had a mutual friend, Gregg, whom we both loved very much. Julie and Gregg (who had moved to San Diego) spoke on the phone every Sunday for 30 years! What a friendship they had! Sadly, Gregg passed away in 2010, I was blessed to be with Gregg his last few days on earth – and Julie called him EVERY day. Others were afraid to call – didn’t know what to say – but Julie called every day. And when Gregg wasn’t able to speak his last couple days – it didn’t matter. Julie called anyway and talked to him as I held the phone to his ear. What a loving friend – we should all be so lucky. Today – I think Julie and Gregg are spending their time in Paradise catching up and ‘dishing the dirt’! My condolences to the family and friends of this special lady. Rest in Peace, Julie.
Julie was my supervisor and friend for many years. She cared so much both for her staff as well as our clients. She lead by example and I tried to learn all I could about supervising from her.I have many fond memories of time spent with her.She was indeed a very special Lady. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. Heaven has gained another angel. RIP Julie my friend
I knew Julie in the sixties. She was my camp counselor, Camp Winding Creek, Sebring, Florida. Julie was a wonderful friend and mentor in my early adulthood. I had tried to find her periodically, through the years. Sadly, today I found her, too late to say thank you for your kindness. RIP dear Julie.
