Joyce Obera Moss

Joyce Obera Allman Moss, 81, of Fairview, NC passed away on January 31, 2023. She was born in Weaverville in 1941 to the late Charles Albert Warren Allman and Ida Marie Gentry Allman. She is survived by two sons; Roger Dean Moss, Jr. and Kenneth Moss, and a sister; Linda Childers.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roger Dean Moss, Sr. and three sisters; Sara Doan, Alice Tomberlin, and Elaine Phillips.
A Memorial Service is planned for Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Morgan Hill Baptist Church in Weaverville, NC, with the Rev. Jeff Tomberlin officiating. The family will receive family and friends for 45 minutes prior to the service.
There will be a committal service on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain, NC.
