Joyce Kilpatrick Cartledge, 83, of Asheville, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, November 5, 2017, at her residence.
Mrs. Cartledge is survived by her husband, Allan Ray Cartledge; son, Randy Cartledge, of Houston, TX; sister-in-law, Gwen Kilpatrick, of Charlotte; her Sheltie, Stevie; and nieces and nephew, Denise Kilpatrick, Andrea Pittman, and Don Kilpatrick.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Allan Cartledge.
Mrs. Cartledge was a graduate of Lee H. Edwards High School and Mission Hospital School of X-Ray Technology. She was a member of Oak Forest Presbyterian Church.
The funeral service for Mrs. Cartledge will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. Interment will follow at Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
