Joseph “Danny” Cabe, 75, of Salem, SC passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, May 17, 2023.
Born October 16, 1947 in Asheville, NC, Danny was a son of the late Joseph Dillie Cabe and Emma Roberts Cabe. He was a graduate of Erwin High School
Surviving is his wife, Deborah Polk Cabe; daughter, Tracy Wise (Evan); son, Bryan DeHart (Britney); grandchildren, Hannah Wise, Brayden Wise, Dallas DeHart, Criseyde DeHart and Camden DeHart; and a sister, Pat Pfister (Mike).
The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 21 at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 22 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Candler.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hominy Valley Youth League and/or to Boone Creek Baptist Church, 264 Boone Creek Rd., Salem, SC 29676.

I knew Danny through his work and servicing his account at A-B Tech. He was a fine man and always had a smile for his customers. I enjoyed working with him. I send sympathy.
We went to High School with Danny! Such a nice Man! We are very saddened to hear of him passing away! We will be praying for all the family and friends!! God’s Grace of Comfort and Strength to the family and to those who loved him !
