Asheville Butterfly TrailJohn Kane, beloved husband of Jessie for 66 years, passed away March 5th, 2021. He leaves behind his adored son Gordon and dear daughter-in-law Dee; and two special grandchildren, Chelsea and Kevin. He is survived by his sister Betty Kennedy, who lives in Scotland.
John was in the British Intelligence in WWII, then made his career in computers. He was the Vice President of International Marketing for Tandem Computers at the forefront of ATM networks all over the world.
He and Jessie traveled extensively, exploring all the wonderful places around the globe together. John was known for his cheeky sense of humor, which was present, up to the end.
