  14. As one of the “neighborhood gang” sharing part of my childhood with Kevin, I remember Miss Betty well.

Fast forward 40 years. While living in McCayesville, GA. I went in to eat at Subway one afternoon and who did I run into?? Yep! Betty Mathis! We had a wonderful conversation “catching up” and we were able to share our love for Jesus as we shared a meal! It was such fun! I’m thankful I have this memory. Mom (Margaret-Anne Felkel) and I are thinking of all of you during this time, and pray the precious balm of God’s comfort, peace, and love soothes you as you begin this journey of grief.

    Love,
    Wendy

  17. This is to tell you how much you are missed and you have just left us in this old world
you knew how to make others feel better and knew that they were loved no one was a stranger and you knew what they were feeling and what they needed to hear from someone they knew or a straight. You saw people that need a hug and gave it freely you didn’t have a bad thing to say about anyone you ask me once why children who were adopted were always looking so lost I told you then that they were always wondering why they were not loved by the ones that were there parents but by strangers ? Children don’t get over things that the world says they do some have it always but you showed so many that they are loved including me the world as lost another lady of love but God Bless us with you for a while now you’re in the arms of angels rest in peace and sweet dreams my dearest Sister. Friend. Mother

    Love eternally,
    Katie ❤️
