Jerry Thomas Queen of Fairview, went to be with his heavenly father on August 21, 2014, in Pensacola FL.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Rita Ramsey Queen; son, Nathan Bradford Queen of Perdido Key, FL; sister, Nancy Queen Bonham of Arden, sister-in-law Clara Queen of Canton; and numerous nieces and nephews
He is a graduate of Canton High School and Western Carolina University.
Mr. Queen was preceded in death by his parents Frank B. and Evelyn Woody Queen, formerly of Canton; father-in law and mother-in-law Nathan P. and Lena H. Ramsey, formerly of Fairview, brothers Frank B. Queen, Jr. and John C. Queen, nephew, Tommy Queen; and brother-in-law, Thomas Bonham.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 30, 2014, at Green Hills Cemetery, 25 New Leicester Highway, Asheville. The family will receive friends following the service.
