Jerlene McCall Owen

Jerlene McCall Owen, 81, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026 at Mission Hospital.

Mrs. Owen was born in Brevard, NC to the late Herbert and Pauline Dowes McCall. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Leon Owen.

She is survived by her daughter, Terri Owen; her brothers, Curtis McCall and Kenneth McCall. Her niece D’ree McCall, her nephew Jonathan McCall and her cousin Louise Daves.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday April 4, at 2pm at Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery in Transylvania County. Flowers are not necessary.
