JEFFREY “ADAM” WRIGHT CANDLER – Jeffrey “Adam” Wright, 25, of Pisgah Highway, Candler, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 18, 2010. A native of Buncombe Co., Adam loved children, animals, Nascar racing, and was an avid deer hunter. He was a member of the NRA and the NC Wildlife Commission. He was involved in mixed martial arts, and was a member of Stoney Fork Baptist Church. He is survived by his parents, Jeffrey Wade and Sandra Chandler Wright; paternal grandparents Tommy Wright and wife, Sandy, of Leicester, paternal grandparents Virginia McClure and husband Bud of Candler, and maternal grandparents Johnny and Bonnie Chandler of Asheville; a sister, Katelyn Wright of Candler; uncles Mark Wright and Michael Chandler, both of Candler; aunt Susie Ward of Asheville; several cousins, and a host of friends that he adored. A funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Hominy Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dr. Joe Yelton and the Rev. Jeff Massey officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brian Brockwell, Bruce Dixon, Joseph Curtis, Josh Case, Mark Wright, and Jamie Parris. His family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the church. Memorials may be made to Brother Wolf Animal Rescue, PO Box 8195, Asheville, NC 28814.

    It made me so sad to hear about Adam,I saw him this past summer, always gave me a hug and we would talk for a minute. He was a good guy Even if he did have 20 broken wires when he was coming to the orthodontist!!!! He would just grin real big and you couldnt be mad at him!!!
    I know he is in heaven and is no longer struggling.
    It is so hard to let the ones we love so much go,but we have to go on and keep the faith and remember this is temporary and we will all be together again.

    Our hearts are broken to hear of Adam’s passing. No matter where or when you saw him, it was always a smile and a hug. There are no words that I can say to help mend the pain you are feeling, just know that Robbie and I always loved Adam and he was a great young man. As the years went by, I would see Adam from time-to time, and he would ALWAYS give me a hug, and say’How are you Ms. Israel’? Sandy, I cannot imagine what you and Jeff are going through.   19. Sosorry to hear of the loss of Adam. Your family will experience a deep darkness for awhile but just know everyone loves you. Katelyn, you are still my grandaughter, just like Tori. I love all of you and try real hard to go one day at a time. You do get through it but never over it. Only God can give you strength at this time. Adam was a good person and loved by so many.     I cannot imagine the sadness you must feel during this time. Adam had such a loving spirit, to all who knew him. His smile was contagious and his friendship to Zack has always been unconditional and sincere. I can’t really remember a time when Adam wasn’t in his life.   24. We are truly sorry to learn of this sad news and we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time.
    We did not hear about this until today and we are so sorry that we were not able to attend and express our sympathy to Mark and Sandy and the entire family. I know that Adam will be truly missed by all of his family and friends.

  25. Our hearts are heavy over the loss of Adam. We loved him very much. He put windows in for Mama and was always wanting to go hunting out there. He lived with me and our Adam for some time and he helped me through my recovery after surgery. We will never forget him. I prayed for him daily and know that he is in heaven and finally at peace. God be with your family and rest in his arms through the difficult days ahead.

  26. almost six year ago I lost my best friend in the world. I still think about adam daily it seems. Sandy, Jeff, Bonnie, I love yall! and Im sorry! He is missed soo much! My prayers are still with you!

Your Dad still cry everyday wishing we could talk to to you one more time. Katelyn adored you and misses you so much. You always loved our time at Christmas decorating. I continue this in your memory. Our hearts will never be the same until the day you with Christ greet us with open arms. I thank God everyday for the 26 years he allowed us spend with you.
