Corda Jane Sanders, 80, died Friday, May 19, 2000, at the Pisgah Manor Nursing Center,
Candler.
Mrs. Sanders was born in Mt. Vernon, OH, and was a resident of Weaverville, NC.
She is survived by her husband, Wharton Sanders Jr.; daughter, Nancy Shelton; son, Wharton Sanders III; grandchildren, Leslie, Marion, Roxanne, and Fiona, and great-grandson, Zachary.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Saturday, May 27, at Foster Memorial Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Asheville, NC.
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is assisting the family.
