Our loving husband and dad, James Miller, 65, went home to join his Lord and his heavenly family on Saturday, June 22, 2013.
A native of Burnsville, he was a son of the late Melvie Miller. He was also preceded in death by brothers Robert and Bill Miller.
Mr. Miller was a Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Army. Together with his wife, they were the owners of Jobs Are us.
Mr. Miller is survived by his wife of 45 years, Wanna Miller; children Jamie Miller and wife Lori, Cynthia Watkins and husband Vince, Amanda Miller, and Felicia Serrano and husband Dario; 13 grandchildren; brothers Hiram and Donald Miller; and sisters Dorothy Honeycutt and Virgie Beasley.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at Georgetown Baptist Church, with the Rev. Lee Davis officiating.
Donations may be made to the family to assist with expenses.
