James Connor McLaughlin, 4 months, of Asheville, went to be with our Lord and dearest loved ones on Monday, June 28th, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Jamie McLaughlin and his great grandmothers, Rhonda Smith and Marsha Rogers.

Connor leaves behind his father and mother, Colby McLaughlin and Jada Lee; his brothers, Leland and Kyzer; his grandmothers, Rhonda McLaughlin (Aaron) and Kristie Lee; his great-grandmother, Kay McLaughlin; great-grandfather Jim McLaughlin as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.

Although his time with us was short, he made a lasting impact and was loved deeply by everyone who knew him. He was always smiling and loved to be cuddled by dad and mom.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 2, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian. Burial will be private.

“Those that we have held in our arms for a little while, we will hold in our hearts forever “.

  17. So sorry. I was looking for a relative and saw an angel. The world and all our lives are always going to be a little less without a soul that touched me in an instant glimpse of one of Gods most beautiful creations. I’m sorry again to the family.
