She is now rejoicing in the reunion with her family and friends she has not seen in a long time. She was surrounded and comforted by her children at the Keever Solace Center in Asheville at the time of her passing.
Jackie (also known as "Grandmother" by her family) was born December 7, 1934 and a lifelong resident of Buncombe County. She was the daughter of the late Edward Grant Lunsford and Bertha Ball Lunsford of Asheville. She was also predeceased by her loving husband of 58 years, Otto Willard DeBruhl of the home and her brother Mike Lunsford of Asheville.

Dear DeBruhl family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Please accept my sincere sympathies. The death of a loved one is such a challenging time for the entire family. I hope that you can find some comfort in God’s Word the Bible. Acts 24:15 says, ‘I have hope toward God…that there is going to be a resurrection…’ Here the Bible is assuring us that in the near future we have the hope of being reunited with our loved ones we have lost in death. May this promise be a comfort to you during this difficult time.
Tammy, you and your family are in my prayers. May God grant you peace.
