Mr. Boudreau, please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss of Mrs. Boudreau. You both have been such faithful servants to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May the Lord our God comfort and bless you.
Irene was a most gifted and talented lady and she used her abilities to benefit others and to glorify God. She was a quiet, gracious and thoughtful person who never wanted recognition for herself. She will be greatly missed as a dear and special friend. Jim, we are praying for you and we know that God, the Mighty Comforter will bless you with His Holy Presence.
Brother Jim and Ellen
Mr. Boudreau, Scripture is most comforting to me. It brings peace, affirms our hope in Him, and brings comfort beyond understanding.
‘The Lord is close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18’
‘Jesus said, ‘I AM the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in Me will never die.’ John 11:25-26′
You and Irene both have faithfully served the Lord at West Asheville Baptist Church. Her artistry and skill for sewing were unmatched. What beautiful banners she so carefully and meticulously made bearing the beautiful names of our Lord to be used and displayed at the church. She did everything in a humble and quiet manner. She never called attention to herself. Her goal was to glorify the Lord and that she did well. Her writings and penmanship were most amazing. The Lord gifted her in numerous ways and she used those gifts for His Kingdom. Irene touched and enriched my life just as you have. May you find assurance in His Word, peace in His presence, and comfort in His love. You are in my prayers during this difficult time.
‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. Revelations 21:4 ‘
Your sister in Christ,
So sorry to learn of her passing. Her quiet demeanor hid a warm, sweet personality. She was always ready with a big smile, especially when talking about her Miniature Schnauzer.

Jim, I know that Irene will be missed by all who knew her. The two of you made a loving couple. Gain your strength with our Lord Jesus Christ and know that he will never abandon you. You were a wonderful caregiver and I am sure this will take some time, but you will heal; particularly knowing where she is now!

Jim and family, We are so sorry to hear of Irene’s passing. Have thought of her so often and were very good friends during our High School Years. Jill, Frances McAdam Koehn and Connie Naylor Jackson. We hadn’t heard from her in years but always asked if anyone had. So happy to hear of her accomplishments and being close to her church. Good, fun memories we shared and Irene was in our wedding. Prayers for you and family. Jill Vescelius Ashley and John .
Dear Jim,
I am so sorry to hear of Irene’s home going. I cannot even imagine that reunion in heaven that took place on May 3rd, when she and my mom, best friends from when you lived in Adrian and attended that little Baptist Church, met each other. It makes heaven a little more real today. Praying for you, Jim, that your sadness will be soon fade as you dwell on the wonderful memories of your life together.
Love, Helene
