Juanita, Anita and Dennis,
Words cannot express the love I had for Howard. My life was made complete by the years I had growing up down the street from your family. It was truly a blessing that anyone would appreciate. Howard was a man who never had an ill word for anyone. A man who would do anything for you with no expectations in return. How much better would this world be, if there were more Howard Blankenship’s in it?
Tina and I are shocked by his death. We will miss him dearly. We are very thankful that we were able to see him when we were home in October. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
With all our love,
Jim and Tina Gentry

Like Jim, I have so many great memories of growing up with you and Howard in my life. You were like the godparents I never had. The many years of your friendship with our parents will never be forgotten.
