Henry David Ownbey 81, of Biloxi, MS, died on Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at his residence. A native of Asheville, NC, he was a son of the late Oliver and Mary Bell Ownbey. Mr. Ownbey is survived by his wife, Cathie Turner Ownbey, son, Eric (Joanne) Ownbey, daughters, Mary Ownbey and Kami (Phil) Ownbey-Wells; sister, Clara Harris; and brothers, Joe (Judy) Ownbey and Frank Ownbey. The funeral service for Mr. Ownbey will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 29th 2016 at the Groce Funeral Home Chapel on Patton Ave. with Pastor Sara Scruggs officiating. Interment will follow at Green Hills Cemetery. His family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
