Henny Zuegel Brown

Henny Zuegel Brown, 89 years old, died Monday, January 22, 2018 at Blue Ridge Health and Rehab. Henny was born in Frankfurt, Germany to the late Fredrick and Carolina Creighton Zuegel. She was married to the late Clayton Woodrow Brown, who died on February 27, 1995. They were married in 1949 after the war. Surviving are her sons, James C. Brown and Fred E. Brown and wife Elayne; daughters, Evelyn Trotter and Kathy Owens and husband Jerry; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren. Henny loved to be with her family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at Groce Funeral Home, Patton Ave. Graveside services for Mrs. Brown will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday at the Western Carolina State Veteran's Cemetery.
