  4. George, I am so sorry to hear about your mother. Deana called last night and told me. You have our prayers and condolences.
    May the lord bless you.

  5. George, we are so sorry about your Mom. Dick and Helen were wonderful people. It seems like yesterday that I went to work at Tidewater Supply and Dick was the office Mgr. and your mom was at Ivey’s, and you were riding that bicycle of yours all over the place. We were coming to the visitation last nite with Mike and Suzie and Curt and his wife. Long story, but Curt’s daughter from Greensboro decided to be baptisted last evening in Burnesville after a week long camp, so we felt we all needed to go see her in that service, and it was nine o’clock getting back to Asheville. Today was my Mom’s 90th birthday at Baptist Home, and the family all went to celebrate with her. You guessed it, it was at 2O’clock, and we are sorry we missed Helen’s service. I am sure it was God honoring, and we all know she is in heaven with Dick. I know you loved your parents and I know( because they told me so many times) that you were so very special to them! The Palat’s, Waddell’s and Davis’s all are so glad to call you a very good friend. God bless you and your family, and if we can ever help you please call on us.

  6. Dear George,
I was saddened to read of your Mother’s passing. She was such a beautiful and elegant lady with a warm smile and a tender heart. She was always pleasant whenever I would see her at Winners or Ivey’s in Asheville, 1962-65. I sat next to you in Mrs. Brigmon’s typing class (no talking allowed!) May your Mother’s loving memories comfort you in the days, months and years to come. May God strenghten you and your family during this difficult time.
