Guestbook

  1. Dear Cousins Patt, Peter, Beverly & Susan:
Please accept my heartfelt thoughts & prayers for all of you, your children and grandchildren as you mourn the loss of your Mom. I have such fond memories of Aunt Helen & Uncle Gene and all the wonderful visits we had at their Beechwood house and at Grandmom & Grandpop Peterson’s house on S. French Broad. Aunt Helen always was the ‘cool young’ aunt to me. Carol & I lost Mom last May at age 90 but it is comforting to realize that both she and Aunt Helen led long wonderful fulfilled lives. May God Bless you all.

  2. Ronnie, Susan & Lindsey,
We are so sorry for the loss of your mother/grandmother. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. God bless you all.

  3. Dear Patt, Beverly, Pete, Susie.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours with the loss of Aunt Helen. I’ll always cherish the many great childhood memories I have of her and all the Peterson/Blackwell families while visiting in NC.
May you find comfort in your good memories, too. God Bless you all,
    With sympathy and love,
    Carol Peterson Davis

I’m so sorry for your loss. I know that you (Susan) have been a good daughter and you should be proud of the job you have done taking care of your mom. My deepest sympathy is with you.

  5. Susan and family, I am so sorry for the loss of Momma Pete. She was always so sweet and special to me. I will always cherish the wonderful Christmas smorgasboards! All of you are in my prayers during this very difficult time. Love to all of you.

  6. Pete and Anne,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you with the loss of your mom. It is hard to lose a parent but in the face of illness, sometimes it is a blessing.
    Sharon and Miguel

  7. Dear Pat, Beverly, Susie and Pete,

I was sorry to read about your Mother’s passing. She was such a sweet, gentle lady. I have several memories of her while we were all growing-up in Kenilworth. One is the picture of her driving the station wagon. She could barely be seen over the steering wheel and her foot barely reached the gas pedal, just the tip of her toes. I know each one of you have many more things to remember her by and hopefully these will help you go through the days ahead.

    Your childhood friend
    Janet Mendez O’Kelley

  8. To all of Mrs. Blackwell’s Family and especially to my dear, brave, strong friend, Patt,

I am so sorry to have missed your Mother’s funeral, but I am thinking of all of you and send you my prayers, best thoughts, and love.

    Judith
