Asheville Butterfly TrailHelen Geneva Teague, 97, of Oakley passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021. She was preceded in her death by her parents Vernon Frady and Lula Jones. Also preceding her in death her spouse, Oscar Teague.
She is survived by her daughter Wanda Lanning, five grandchildren, and many great grandchildren and extended family and friends.
The family would like to thank a very special niece Tina Frady for all her love and care.
Helen enjoyed her flowers and working in her yard. She was a homemaker.
A graveside service is planned for Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Gashes Creek Cemetery, Rev. Sanford Yoder will officiate.
Groce Funeral Home on Tunnel Road is assisting the family.
