  3. She was a inspiration to all of us and always enjoyed talking with her about old memories of family.I would see bowling on TV and call telling who was bowling and who won. For back as can remember at Christmas the special gifts. I always reminded her how thankful I was and never forgetting some of the toys that still stuck in my mind! I was so proud of all the bowling trophies her and Uncle Pete had and would tell anyone. She is receiving her real trophies in heaven now and will miss her but know She is with God. Always love and remember you Aunt Joe.

  4. Hattie Jo was my Great Aunt her and my grandmother would talk about when they first met . They would call each other on the phone and talk for hours , laughing about old times when they would hang out since they were in their twenties. Hattie Jo introduced my grandfather Sonny Hensley to my grandmother Sue Hensley. I am sure they are talking now face to face now

  5. John and I knew “Jo” from the Eastern Star…first Black Mountain and then Biltmore. She was a true lady whose
    smile and light brought joy.
Jo loved telling us about her
    bowling days and showing us
    her trophies.
To her family, we send sincere condolences. It was our honor and good fortune to have known Jo.
