Guestbook

  1. I realize this is very late, but I just tonight found out that Harry had been promoted to Heaven. A former co-worker from Gerber, John Reeves was updating me. Harry was my foreman at Gerber several years ago, and I liked and respected him very much. Harry always would push me to do a little better, and that is what I needed. And it spoke of the kind of man he was. Fair, firm, and an all around great man. So sorry to hear of his passing.

  2. Kathleen, L. G., and Moody Family,
Regardless of age, health, or any other circumstance we are never ready to give up our loved ones. The only comfort has to be our Faith in the Sovereignty of God and the manifested concern of caring friends. Your friends in the Class of 43 join us in expressing our sympathy. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Zunita and Joe

  3. John and I always remember what a kind, fair man Harry was. He was one of the first people we met when we moved to Long Shoals Road. He bushoged a pasture for us.He was a Gentleman.Since losing John I don’t go to funerals. My prayers are with the family.

  4. My thoughts and prayers are with the Moody family during this time of loss. HL made a great impression on my life while growing up. He was like another father to me, watching over me, and keeping me and Larry straight. Sometimes we even listened.

  5. We are deeply saddened to hear of your loss. We both have so many childhood memories of H.L. We will treasure them always. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. May God bless you all.

  8. Kathleen, John, and the Moody family:
I am deeply saddened to learn just today about the death of HL. I’ll always remember his laughing face. I have also just learned of Elizabeth’s death. I was very curious about Mary Phipps. I moved to GA recently and lost touch all of you. I went by the house on Springside a few years ago while in the area but no one came to the door. May God Bless, and please keep in touch. My family gives their regards.
Mary Moody Morris & Kathie Morris Logan (my daughter)
