Guestbook

  1. My sincere sympathy to the family of this wonderful, sweet, gentleman. He worked with my daddy, Glenn Starnes, at Home Insulation Company many years ago. I enjoyed visiting with him and Leona when we frequently met doing our grocery shopping. I will miss his warm spirit and his sweet smile.

  2. We have lost another wonderful big hearted man…we shall miss his humor, his hugs and his kind words…a man devoted to his wife , a loving caring uncle, a prankster and a wonderful role model…God has taken him home …our hearts grieve today but we know he shall be waiting just down the road….watching over his loved ones…Goodbye, Uncle Glen…we will miss you

  3. Our church family has lost another kind, sweet and gracious gentleman. He always had a smile and a hug for everyone and was happy to serve the Lord. His love and devotion to his wife was a testimony of how we should all live our lives. My prayer is that God will comfort Leona and give her peace as she adjusts to life without Glenn.

  4. To the Family of Glenn
I was heartbroken to hear of his passing. He always gave me a hug every Sunday after Sunday School leaving to take care of his sweet wife. Glenn was a man whom you would just love. I will miss him so much but I know he is making people happy in heaven with his love and smile. I have been so
blessed knowing him and having him a part of our church family.
Love you Glenn and missing you.

  5. David and I only knew Glenn for a short time but felt like we had know him all our lives. He would always give me a big smile and a big hug every Sunday morning when he came in. He always talked about his wife with joy in his voice. A light has gone out and he will be missed by everyone.
We love you and will miss you.

  9. All our thoughts and prayers go out to you in your loss, Leona. Glenn has always held a special place in my heart, just as you do. Glenn was so much like my dad. He will be sorely missed. If everyone had the love in them that you and Glenn have always shown the world would be a better place. But now he is looking down on you with all the love in the world. God be with you in your loss. Our love and prayers go out to you.

  12. Prayers and Love to a Family member who has returned to the father. Prayers for those that are still here on this world. Uncle Glenn has found peace and will be waiting for the rest of the family when it is there time… Year to come with the Lord’s Grace.

  13. Sorry for your loss. Glenn was a very sweet man. He will be missed. God Bless Leona and family. Take care – Donna Sampson

  14. My heart broke into today when I received Starnes Cove – The Clarion and saw where Glenn had passed away. He and Leona are two of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I met them through Amber, their granddaughter. I would see Glenn out from time to time and get the latest on Leona and Amber. I will miss him but there’s another wonderful angel in Heaven now.
