Frances Stewart Ballew, 82, of Asheville, died Sunday, July 8, 2012.
A native of Buncombe Co., she was a daughter of the late James and Welzie Stewart. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Marvin C. Ballew.
Mrs. Ballew is survived by daughters Lyna Brigman and her husband, Arthur, and Patsy Carroll; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, and 2 brothers.
