Eva Adair Woods, 84, of Candler, died Monday, June 13, 2016, at Mission Hospital.
A native of Mechanicsburg, VA, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Katherine Thompson Lovill. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George Louis Woods, and daughters, Martha Thompson and Dorcas Black.
Mrs. Woods was a member of The Church of God.
Surviving are her sons, Donald S. Woods (Mary), George Dennis Woods (Connie), Larry B. Woods (Penny), Charles N. Woods, and Marvin W. Woods (Debbie); 25 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; sister, Dorcas Cook; brother, Scott Lovill; and companions Pickle and Bambie.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday in the Patton Ave. chapel of Groce Funeral Home, with Mr. Donald Woods officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
