Estella (Sauceda) Bradley, 73, of Mills River, died Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Elizabeth House in Flat Rock.
Born in Brownsville, TX, she was the wife of the late Gene Bradley, who died September 27, 2021. They had been married 38 years. She was the daughter of the late Gumecindo and Katherine (Fredericks) Sauceda. She was also preceded in death by her foster parents, Cleo and Nadeene Gray, a brother, Herschel Gray, and a sister, Teresa deJesus Pecina.
Estella was a member of Mills River Emmanuel Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons: Mark Bryson (Shannon) of Duncan, SC, Walter Bryson (Tanya) and Matt Bryson (Yvette), all of Hendersonville; four grandchildren: Taylor (Catie), Wyatt (Emma), Sirena, and Seth; three great-grandchildren: Clarke, Hollis, and Walker; and her sister and caregiver, Elizabeth Smith. She is also survived by four additional sisters, three brothers, and three foster siblings.
A funeral service will be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian with Pastor Ron Benzing officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service, from 1:30 to 2:30 PM. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Estella’s memory may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church, 11 Pennsylvania Road, Mills River, NC 28759.
