Eric David Frisbee, 47, of 3463 New Leicester Hwy., died Thursday, September 6, 2007. Mr. Frisbee was born in Buncombe Co., and was a son of Richard Frisbee and the late Mary Ward Frisbee. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Rex Frisbee. Mr. Frisbee worked at Hajoca Plumbing Co. Mr. Frisbee is survived by his wife Ginger Morrow Frisbee; sisters, June Hawkins and husband Curtis, of Leicester, and Marlene Frisbee and husband Jack Wallen, of Fairview; sister-in-law, Sherry Frisbee, of Leicester; nieces, Darlene Floyd and husband Danny, and Courtney McHone and husband Ben, and one nephew, Dale Hawkins. Eric was a wonderful and caring man. He always had a smile on his face and a helping hand for all. He never met a stranger and was loved by all fortunate enough to know him. Eric, you will forever be greatly missed. The world has lost a true friend. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Union Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Phillips officiating. His family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave.

    My wife Beverly and I were shocked to learn of Eric’s death. I have been trading with Hajoca for many years and appreciated Eric’s skill and knowledge of the plumbing industry. His light-hearted approach to life and his laughter will be missed. We will be praying for you for we know your hurt and grief is great. God is able to sustain you through this difficult time.

    Our hearts really go out to you at this time. I know your pain is great but hold on to the wonderful memories of the days spent with Eric because in our hearts he will never really leave us. Eric was a wonderful man. A precious friend for 26 years. We will never forget his wonderful spirit and sweet smile. For those of us who really knew him we were blessed by his friendship and love. I am ‘Jinks’ Clarence Bartlett’s son and I met Eric at Hajoka when I would help my dad. Eric was always very helpful and always had a smile for everyone!   13. Dear Ginger, I have known Eric for serveral years. He and my mom Charlotte worked together. Eric was always a pleasure to be around. He always had a smile on his face. He was truley a treasure.   15. I was out of town this week-end & very saddened to hear of Eric’s sudden death. I cannot imagine the pain the family must be going through. Eric was always such a pleasure to be around and talk to. He certainly knew how to lift up your spirit. I graduated high school with Eric & counted him a special friend. I have known him for many years & he was always the same even if it had been a while since last seeing him. I pray God will comfort you all as only HE can during this most difficult time. You will be in my prayers.

  17. I just heard the terrible news and don’t know how to begin on expressing my sorrow to the family for the loss of Eric. I knew Eric for several years as a friend and asset to my company. He was always nice and helpful to me. He will be strongly missed.
