Elva Presnell "Ginger" Davis, 92, passed away Friday, September 9, 2016.
A native of Clyo, GA, she was the daughter of the late Luster Lee and Elva Eugenia Morgan Presnell, and she was married to Robert Edward "Ed" Davis, who died in 2006. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, a sister and two brothers.
She operated a phone answering service.
Surviving are four daughters, Rebecca Brigman (Ronald), Annette Johnson (Ken), Rhonda Kirkland (Sonny) and Joyce Smith (Willie); three sons, Johnny Davis, Charles Davis (Lois) and Rick Davis; 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Nadine Gaskin.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with Pastors Donnie Walker and Allen Rash officiating. Interment will follow at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
