Elmer N. "Fudd" Anderson, Jr., 65, of Swannanoa, died Saturday, November 12, 2016, at Carepartners Solace Center.
Born in Buncombe County, Fudd was a son of the late Elmer N. Anderson, Sr. and Helen Smith Anderson, and was also preceded in death by brothers, Eddie Anderson and Donnie Earl Anderson. He was a retired mechanic.
Surviving are sons, Kevin Anderson (Samantha) and Christopher Thompson (Charlene); sisters, Susie Hipps and Brenda Sherman; step-mother, Edith Anderson, and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Green Hills Cemetery with Pastor Doug Guy officiating.
The family will receive friends at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. Thursday prior to the service.
In lieu of of flowers, donations may be made to the family in care of Chris Thompson to assist with expenses.
