Walt and family,
You are in my thoughts and prayers. Your Mother was a bright star in my life in school and in the years that followed. I am honored and blessed to have known her.
Is truly missed and was very loved by many!!! She was my ‘sister’ a little thing we called each other and life at Givens will never be the same without her..
Walt,
Sorry to hear of your mothers passing. She was a great teacher and an even better person. Will be thinking of, and praying for you and the family.
Walt, I have lost track of you but your mother was a great lady, as you already know. She was my 7th grade Science teacher and a great friend at Valley Springs and Skyland UMC. I can remember that my dad and your dad were great friends. My dad died back in 1962. We both were just little tots back then. The last time I remember seeing her was at her 90th Birthday Party at Skyland. My condolences in the death of your mother and may God richly bless you and your family in your loss.
I was blessed to have had her for a teacher
