Elizabeth Andrews Wilkinson, 90, died on Sunday, September 25, 2022, at Universal Healthcare, Fletcher, NC.

Elizabeth was born on June 15, 1932, in Mebane, NC, to the late William Oscar and Ada Hearne Andrews. She married the love of her life, Guy Thompson Wilkinson, on November 27, 1953. They relocated to Fayetteville, NC, in 1969 and were finally blessed with a daughter, Guyla, after 17 years of marriage. Elizabeth became heavily involved in the local community working with Cape Fear Valley as a candy striper, substitute teacher, traveling basketball mom, and interior designer until she retired in 2000 to care for her husband after he became ill. In her spare time, she enjoyed chatting, shopping, singing, and spending time with family and friends.

Her family and friend paid this tribute to her: “Elizabeth was one of the kindest people you could ever meet. She had a way of making you feel comfort and always had a smile to share. She will be sorely missed.”

She is survived by her daughter, Guyla, and a host of close loved ones and friends.
