Edwin Moto Sakaguchi

Edwin Moto Sakaguchi, 79, of Swannanoa, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Mission Hospital. Born in Stockton, CA to the late John T. and Kay Katsumi Sakaguchi, he was a Mechanical Engineer of Sales and Marketing in the Aerospace, Electronics, Fiber Optic and Medical fields. Survivors include his wife, Gail Danziger Sakaguchi;son, Christopher Sakaguchi; grandsons, Bret and Sean Sakaguchi;and sister Maomi Asai. He is preceded in death by brother, Thomas Sakaguchi. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 120 Executive Park, Building 1, Asheville, NC, 28801. Groce Funeral Home on Tunnel Road is assisting the family.
