Edith D. Cordell

Mrs. Cordell was born in McDowell COunty, was a daughter of the late Ed and Maggie Burleson Davis, and was married to the late Jack Cordell.  She was also  preceded in death by a son, Wayne Cordell.  She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, Earl Cordell, 2 grandchildren, Melody Roberson and Roger Cordell, and a sister, Irene Hilliard.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday at Green Hills Cemetery with the Rev. Carson Moseley officiating.
