Edgar Orr “Scooter” Teague, Jr., 61, of Asheville, passed away Monday, June 17, 2024, at Mission Hospital.
Born November 16, 1962 in Buncombe Co., Scooter was the son of Patricia Hunnicutt Teague and of the late Edgar Orr Teague, Sr.
Mr. Teague worked as a cable installer. He loved fishing, the lottery, and buying & selling goods online.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Michaiah Kellet; uncles, Larry Hunnicutt (Annette) and David Teague; and many caring cousins.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 23 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, with the Rev. Don Penland officiating.
The family will receive friends after the service in the church.

Glad he was a Christian who loved the Lord & his family. Will miss his encouraging texts & prayers for us all. Always asked how everyone was doing.
It was amazing what all he could handle from that hospital bed! He will be greatly missed by his dear Mom who has dedicated her life to his care these past few years. What a strong relationship they had. Prayers for you dear Cousin.
